April 2007 - Four Positions Open at iKobo

Company Profile

iKobo is a young, vibrant company that specializes in providing person to person (P2P) money transfer services over the internet.  Instead of the more cumbersome, more expensive cash-based transfer companies, iKobo allows consumers to transfer and access money from the convenience and security of their own home.  iKobo leverages on-line services and capitalizes on its relationships with VISA and MasterCard to allow transfers to any location where someone can log on to the internet or find a VISA/MasterCard ATM.  Started in 2001 as a way for immigrants working in the United States to quickly send money to friends and families back in over 170 countries, iKobo Money Transfer is now one of the fastest growing money transfer companies in the world.

The iKobo concept is to leverage on-line services and establish card-based network standards for worldwide use.  When sending money to iKobo, iKobo issues an iKobo iKard – a Visa card – that family and friends can use to get cash and make purchases at any VISA location or VISA ATM or cash machine worldwide.
