November Happy Hour & Evening Meal
Happy Hour & Evening Meal at Jock’s & Jill’s - Good Company, Great Food!On November 14th, 2003 the Chapter held a Happy Hour & Evening Meal at Jock’s & Jill’s. A number of area alumni have told us that they are unable to get away from work long enough to attend the Chapter monthly luncheons on the third Friday of each month. As such, this was an attempt at providing an evening venue for folks to get together. The event was attended by 36 alumni and spouses, which was just the right size for mixing and mingling in our private room at Jock’s & Jill’s. In attendance were: Jon & Jan Barton, Ples & Kameelah Bruce, Jack & Patricia Clay, Art & Allison Czerwonky, Capt Vance Dawkins & Anita Baker, Mike Donohoo, Marc Farris, Steve & Karen Frederick, Mike & Helena Herger, Paul & Nancy Hurst, Mario Maddux, Carl & Marilyn McCallum, Sam & Sandy Newton, Scott & Donna Redd, Bill & Sue Rentz, Mary Lou Blair, Robbin & Donna Russell, Bob & Linda Schultz, Nick Ward & Jean Jacob, and Will & Catherine Wood. Once again Jock’s & Jill’s outdid themselves. The dinner was great! We had a choice of three different main courses, plus the usual salad, dinner rolls, and side dishes. In addition, wine was served with dinner, and a great dessert offered up to finish off the night. (Warmed blonde brownies with chocolate chips, scoop-your-own vanilla ice cream over the top and finish it off with more chocolate chips, sprinkles, and chocolate or caramel syrup! Wow!)
