Climbs Everest

Woodie "Long Man" Vaughan '64 relates his
Everest climb adventure at December Luncheon!
Woodie Vaughan '64 was our featured speaker at the December '98 luncheon.
By the way, Woodie was dubbed "Long Man" by his Sherpa guides, all of
whom were only about half his size! Those of you who were unable to attend the
luncheon missed a colorful telling of a terrific tale!
Didn't make it to the December luncheon? Fear not, I kept the 6-page
article about Woodie's climb that appeared in the Fulton County Daily Report. I
scanned in the pages from the Daily Report, pictures and all, so everyone can read and see
the story.
The article is in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). PDF files
are portable (can be read) across all computing platforms.
NOTE: You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view
this file!
If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your system go to
How to get Adobe Acrobat Reader

Depending on your web browser and how you have it set up, the PDF file

print out the article.
Thanks again to Woodie for sharing this exciting adventure-of-a-lifetime
with us all!
